I can’t go anywhere because I don’t have a car… or a drivers licence

How can NDIS help: 

• NDIS can pay some travel money for a carer who might drive you places. 
• NDIS can pay some money for things like Bush Bus, Special taxis.
• NDIS can sometimes help get driver’s licence if this is needed to get or keep a job.

Can NDIS buy me a car?

No. NDIS can sometimes help people make changes to their car to make it easier to drive or get in and out, like a special seat that swings around or a wheelchair ramp.
