Therapy – Special help from professionals

How can NDIS help:

NDIS can help pay for help from different therapy specialists, like

My son has trouble speaking properly…

• speech therapists,

My father is having trouble getting to the toilet…

• continence nurses (help with toilet problems)

I would like to do more exercise to keep healthy…

• physiotherapists (exercise and helping improve nerves, muscles)
• dieticians

I would like to be able to do painting…

• occupational therapist (OTs)

Some people need to have reports from professionals to get the special equipment they need. 

I want to pay my traditional healer for helping me…

No. NDIS unfortunately can’t pay for traditional healers.
